| We the members of the Redwood Empire Division do solemnly promise to use our resources to promote the brotherhood, pride, membership and leadership of the chapters we serve. We will accomplish this by: Promoting pride in individuals, chapters, and the Division by Encouraging DeMolay ideals. Being there for each other Visiting and Supporting our Chapters Delivering on our promises Providing Open Houses Assisting in Degrees Workshops Enthuse our members Promote DLC |
| DeMolay was one of history's most courageous martyrs, a man who faced a barbarous end rather than betray a trust. He is the namesake of our organization. The Order of DeMolay is a youth fraternity for young men ages 12-20 that instills good social and leadership skills through the guidance of adults. We practice sincere dedication to our country, public schools, and freedom of religion. Seven cardinal precepts guide us: FILIAL LOVE REVERENCE FOR SACRED THINGS COURTESY COMRADESHIP FIDELITY CLEANNESS PATRIOTISM and through them the Order of DeMolay produces young men with the high moral standards necessary to survive the trials of our changing and difficult world by equipping them with examples and friends to last their whole life through. |
